What I have learned from this semester in creating my Wix portfolio
I have never tried to create my own website on Internet before. Many of my friends already have their own websites by using different apps to create their own page, and they share their thoughts about current events, issues, or just daily journals with others.

Fortunately, I have created my own Wix portfolio to share daily journals and my essay with others since this semester. In the beginning, I felt extremely new and interesting in having a chance to create my own website, even though I have no idea about how to create my website.

After learning the instructions from the teachers and TA, I know how to use a main page and subpage. Besides, after we post our works on the website, TA will give us some advice to tell us how to modify the page to make it more reader-friendly. Sometimes we may be too immersed in our own page without caring about how our readers may feel after reading it.
From making my own website, I have learned how to design the page and arrange the way to present words and pictures. Although I always have difficulties in choosing the background color and picture, I have gained many accomplishments after browsing the whole website that I have made since the beginning of this semester. To be honest, making an e-portfolio is a challenging task for me and always takes me much time until I feel fairly content with the result. It is no exaggeration to say that the time I have spent on designing my page may be quite similar to the time I have spent on writing. To sum up, I really like the beautiful page I have designed, and I have learned many useful and practical skills to create a website. In my opinion, these skills may also be beneficial in the future. Not to mention the interaction between the writer and the readers, it is enjoyable to see others’ feedback after sharing something with them and worthwhile to spend time on it. Hopefully that I will still enjoy the writing and designing process in the next semester.
